Together with our partners Kunshan City government and IoTONE, Startup Factory has set-up Smart Factory Kunshan in 2017 as an open IIoT technology hub for Industry 4.0 technologies. At the Smart Factory Kunshan we specialize in integrating Industry 4.0 technologies into established manufacturing processes for products that go to market rather than pure showroom demonstrators. Let’s get inspired by the unique atmosphere in our labs!

Our Mission

Our goal is to make Smart Factory Kunshan China’s leading point of contact, demonstration and learning factory for Sino-German (Western) activities in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0. With Startup Factory’s production environment, we have a unique starting point for deployment of digitization products and foreign-Chinese collaborations. Our mission is to make IIoT accessible for SMEs and build a maximum diverse ecosystem as connectivity and collaboration is one of the core tasks in Industry 4.0.

Smart Factor Kunshan is under the patronage of Germany‘s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. It is one of the Sino-German cooperation projects chosen in collaboration with the Ministry for Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China in the field of smart manufacturing and networking of production processes, which are expected to make a big contribution to innovative development in both countries.
